Why so many blankets? Logos Christian Fellowship is collecting blankets to minister to the homeless in the Ocala national forest. They need 500 blankets to meet the need for the remaider of the season and next fall. What happens to a blanket? The blankets are cut and sewn to to match and fit a 6X8 ft. plastic tarp. The blankets are tied to the tarp creating an all weather sleeping bag. The plastic makes it extremely warm, and a wool blanket stays warm even if it gets wet. See graphic.>> What can I do? You may drop off blankets new or used any time at Logos Christian Fellowship. They can produce one of these all weather sleeping bags for about $10 should you decide to make a donation.
