Official Rules Follow all stage manager's instructions. Be courteous to other performers and their gear. No profanity. Let's act professional. Please mute any profanity in your lyrics especially if it's in the hook. We just want all members of our audience to have a good time without the profanity. Address specific questions to the manager@blanketconcert.com. No drugs. No alcohol. Playing sober or clean may be a new experience for some of us, but if you want to win it has to be all you and nothing else. Leave your demons at the door. Entry fee is THREE (3) blankets, which we have found for about $5.00 each, or $15 total. Blankets must be in good to new condition. So if you bring in some ratty blanket that you use to wax your car, it won't count. You owe us five bucks! We get to take your picture and put it on the website. There will be a backstage area available for the band who plays next. The rest of you keep the party going out front! To accomodate the number of bands, you have five minutes to take the stage and two minutes to exit. Winning performance will win a one-song contract with Ethereal Music Records as decided by a three judge panel. Second place wins 50% off a four hour session at EMR. Third place wins 25% off a four hour session. All performances should be less than 5 minutes. The winner will return for a three song encore at the end. One song will be the winning performance. Be prepared to play two other songs. No prize substututions or transfers. Judges decisions are final. Judging Criteria: Quality of performance Musical skill Audience response
